Headstone of James Washington Wyatt

James Washington Wyatt's headstone at House Wyatt Cemetery, reading James B. Wyatt
His own headstone, photographed at what's now House Wyatt Cemetery — reads "James B. Wyatt," — very likely a stonecutter's misreading of a handwritten cursive W. (his 1875 marriage license and bond all read "James W."; see Sources) — and gives his birth year as 1859, not 1854 — same day and month, five years later. See Sources for the full discrepancy.

Frances M. Casey was the first wife of Pinkney Wyatt. I beleive Frances died giving birth or soon after giving birth to James.
